Bob Launhardt was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest (about as far from the Oil & Gas Business as you can get) and graduated from Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma Washington with a BS in Engineering/Physics in 1980. Upon Graduation, he moved to Levelland Texas to begin his Oilfield Services career with Schlumberger as a wireline field engineer. After being laid off in 1983 Bob hired on with Welex, a Halliburton Co. again as a wireline field engineer but only stayed in the field for about 8 months before being moved into an in-house consulting group working throughout multiple Product Lines at Halliburton. He spent the next 24 years in multiple locations in Marketing, Sales, and Middle Management. In 2007 Bob left Halliburton to open a sales office in Oklahoma City for Pinnacle Technologies providing frac diagnostic services to the Mid-con region. 16 months after moving to Pinnacle, Halliburton purchased Pinnacle and Bob was back in his old office providing Sales and Operations Management support for what then became Pinnacle, a Halliburton Service. The downturn in 2015 caught up with Bob and he was laid off. After searching for meaning in his professional life, Bob decided to change directions entirely and begin a career in Financial Services.
In mid-October 2018, Bob was given the opportunity to return to the Oil and Gas Industry with DiverterPlus and once again has the opportunity to support our great industry through Technical Solutions to improve well performance and improve efficiencies.
Bob is married to a God-given wonderful and patient wife – Karla and has two extremely intelligent and talented daughters – Kalli (17) and Lauren (15). The family are members at First Presbyterian Church – Edmond.
